“Mambakkam’s Taj Mahal” - Priya Lourduraj

The pioneering Amala Annai High School, Mambakkam, is the first educational compound in the state of Tamil Nadu to have obtained the coveted Indian Green Building Council’s Platinum certification.

Built following strict, sustainable building methods and techniques, the 800-pupil capacity school was designed by the young Indian architect Priya Lourduraj. She represents the youngest generation of a family, collaborating with the Foundation since 3 generations.

This is an interview conducted with Priya Lourduraj at her office in Chennai, South India.
